Position Introduction:

We are currently looking for an Electric Vehicle Energy Analyst Intern to join our team this summer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Will work closely with incentives team to research and explore opportunities for Electric Vehicle, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) or Solar grants.
• Assist the EV Incentives Team in drafting EV incentive applications to include Federal, State, Local and Utility based programs.
• Work with various Applegreen departments to compile and submit reimbursement documentation for outstanding grants or incentives.
• Document and track requirements related to ongoing data collection and submittal for existing incentive programs to include National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI), Utility Make-Ready and other operating incentive programs.
• Prepare weekly, monthly or quarterly progress reports related to open grant or incentive programs.
• Maintain databases related to grant funding.
• Participate in meetings and contribute to project discussions and brainstorming sessions. Prepare, maintain, and distribute meetings notes and assist in agenda creation and distribution.

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of business analysis techniques and tools is a plus.
